The information below will help you export your data directly from the social network or website.

Twitter

Twitter

Twitter will let you download an archive of all of your tweets, retweets, and Twitter images.

Twitter instructions

Log into your Twitter account. Navigate to Settings Account Content.

Next, click "Request your archive". You will be emailed by Twitter when the download is ready.

Facebook

Facebook

Facebook will let you download a copy of your posts, photos, videos, messages, and more.

Facebook instructions

Log into your Facebook account. Navigate to Settings General Account Settings.

At the bottom of the page is a link to "Download a copy of your Facebook data".

Instagram

Instagram

Instagram doesn't currently provide a way to download an archive of your photos and your account data.


LinkedIn

LinkedIn

LinkedIn will let you download a data archive with your account history, activity, and more.

LinkedIn instructions

Log into your LinkedIn account. Navigate to Privacy & Settings and then choose the Account tab.

Next click "Request an archive of your data" under the Helpful Links header.

Foursquare

Foursquare

Foursquare makes feeds available for importing your check-in history into other platforms.

Foursquare instructions

Log into your Foursquare account, and navigate to the feeds page.

Choosing the ICS or GCAL formats will let you import your full check-in history into your calendar.

Choosing the RSS or KML formats will let you use the data with widgets and applications like Wordpress.

Flickr

Flickr doesn't provide a way to download your photos. You may be able to use a third-party app.


Tumblr

Tumblr doesn't currently a way to download an archive of your posts and account data.


Evernote

Evernote

With the desktop application for Evernote, you can download your Notes and Notebooks.

Evernote instructions

At this time, Evernote does not allow you to export your data from the web client.

On Mac:

Export a Note by selecting the note and choosing File Export Note. Then select the format, either Evernote XML Format or HTML.

Export all notes in notebooks by selecting Notebook and choosing File Export All Notebooks. Then select the format, either Evernote XML Format or HTML.

On Windows:

Export a Note by selecting the note and choosing File Export Note. Then select the format, either Evernote XML Format or HTML.

Export a notebook by right-clicking on a Notebook and choosing File Export Notebook. Then select the format, either Evernote XML Format or HTML.

Pinterest

Pinterest

Pinterest doesn't currently provide a way to download an archive of your pins and account data.


App.net

App.net

App.net will let you export all of your data, including posts, channels, messages, and your profile.

App.net instructions

Log into your App.net account and navigate to Settings and then select Your Content.

Next click "Data Export." You will receive an email with your archive when it's ready.

Google Plus

Google+

Google will allow you to export Google+ information like your profile, stream, +1s, and circles.

Google+ instructions

Google Takeout provides exports of many Google services, including data associated with Google+. Once you're logged into your Google account and navigated to Takeout, you'll see that all products have been selected for download.

If you just want to download data associated with your Google+ account, select Profile, Hangouts, Google+ Circles, Google+ Stream, +1s, and Google Photos.

Select "Next" and then choose the file type and the delivery method (either email or to your Drive).

Ello

Ello

Ello doesn't currently provide a way to download an archive of your posts and profile.


Known

Known

Known will let you export all of your data, including posts, pictures, updates, and more.

Known instructions

Log into your Known website and go to Configure Your Site and then select Export Data.

Next click the "Start Exporting Your Data" link. When the export is done generating, the page will update, and you'll be able to download the link to all of your content.

Medium

Medium

Medium will allow you to export all of your posts.



Medium instructions

Log into your Medium account. From the left bar, navigate to Settings.

Scroll down the page and select "Export content." You will be able to download a .zip file with your content.
